- Referral letter
- All Xrays, scans and their reports
- Recent blood tests -
1. Yes. A referral from your GP or another specialist is required to obtain a Medicare rebate. You are welcome to attend without a referral, however a rebate will not apply.

Initial Consult $325.
Follow up Consult $ 150.00
A Medicare rebate is available with a valid referral.
Dr Myers does not routinely bulk bill. -
Yes, provided you have a valid referral at the time of your consultation.

Costs are based on the AMA Fee schedule for Surgical procedures. It depends on the procedure and insurance cover.
A detailed written quote will be provided prior to surgery.

In part, yes. However, there may still be out-of-pocket costs.
Note the Anaesthetist will send a separate invoice.

Not always. In many cases, Dr Myers will assess you first and then arrange any necessary investigations.
Often the quality of the investigations is better and done more quickly than outside the Hospital.

Yes, Paid parking is available in the hospitals.
Prince of Wales
Park on Level B4 of the Prince of Wales Car Park.
Entry off Barker Street at the roundabout. Catch the POW PRIVATE LIFTS to Level 7.
Note – The lifts only go to the ground floor from Parking levels B1 – B 3 and you have to then enter the building and catch a separate lift to Level 7.
It is preferable to drive down to level B 4 – There is a direct lift to the 7th Floor.Kareena Rooms
There is limited paid parking in the hospital carpark.

No. Dr Myers worked at Prince of Wales Hospital from 1991 to 2020. He no longer works in the public hospital.
