1. Admission & Fasting times will be confirmed the day before your scheduled operation by the hospital.
(Usually 4 – 7 pm).

2. The Operating list usually starts at 1:00 PM. Therefore All patients can and should eat breakfast before 7:00 AM. You do not need to fast from the night before.

3. You should not eat anything for 6 hours prior to the time of surgery.

4. You can drink water or Poweraid up until 3 hours before surgery.

5. You can take your regular medications with a small sip of water.

6 Avoid wearing jewellery to hospital.
